Hands On Sauerkraut Class In-Person

Fermentation is one of the oldest forms of food preservation.

Come learn more about how it works to preserve our food while starting a jar of Sauerkraut made from fresh cabbage.

The class size is limited so you must register a head of time by calling North Carolina Cooperative Extension, McDowell County Center at (828) 652-8104.

To make it easier for everyone to attend, we’re offering two session times, 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Choose the time that works best for you

There is no cost but again registration is required due to limited spaces.
